This spring, A4J Deputy Director Valena Beety completed revisions on her essay, Policing Pregnancy “Crimes”, which documents particular wrongful convictions, and proposes methods to challenge the faulty forensic evidence likely to be used in court by prosecutors to secure pregnancy behavior convictions. The essay was published in the March issue of the New York University Law Review.
